Just A Common Thing

Semua orang punya. Orang dengan senyuman hangat di pagi hari pun diam-diam menyimpannya. Tapi tak ada satupun orang di dunia menginginkannya.

Lagi, lagi dan lagi sampai kata itu menjadi seolah tidak berarti. Oh, aku harap dia menjadi benar-benar tak berarti, poof! hilang ditelan kata-kata. Ya, aku harap.

Setiap orang punya masalah masing-masing. Aku? aku punya masalah. Lebih dari satu, atau bahkan banyak, dan percayalah ketika aku bilang banyak, aku tidak bangga akan hal itu. Saat ini masalah seakan sedang menyukaiku, kita menempel seperti sejoli bahagia yang dulunya tak pernah saling kenal. Menempel sangat erat, beranak pinak, bereproduksi, dari masalah besar kemudian menjadi beberapa masalah kecil-kecil lalu tumbuh dewasa dan kemudian bereproduksi lagi menjadi masalah kecil-kecil lagi. Repeat.

Kalau mau tanya kenapa kepada Tuhan, salah-salah Dia menjawab kenapa tidak? Ya, kenapa tidak? Toh sebagai manusia masalah adalah hal biasa. Aku sering mendapat banyak masalah, aku jadi terbiasa. Terbiasa karena selalu ada. Saking terbiasa memiliki masalah, aku seakan-akan kebal, tidak ingin meminta ini itu karna beberapa hal akan menyebabkan masalah. Ironic, isn't it?

Percaya padaku, sesak rasanya punya masalah yang dipakul sendirian apalagi dengan jumlah yang banyak. Aku ingin berbagi, sungguh aku ingin berbagi. Dengan orang lain, siapapun itu tentang masalah-masalahku, tentang bagimana dia menghambat keinginanku, menghambat orang-orang terkasihku, menghambat mimpi-mimpiku, menghambat aku untuk living my life to the fullest, menghambat aku untuk berpikir positif. Tetapi some secrets should remain to be secret, I believe so.

Aku dan masalah, kita saat ini sedang menempel erat seperti dua sejoli bahagia yang dulunya tak pernah saling kenal. Tapi pada akhirnya kan, in most cases, dua sejoli itu akan kembali tidak mengenal satu sama lain lagi. Masalah-masalah ini mungkin bisa menghambat aku untuk berpikir positif, tapi satu yang dia tidak bisa sentuh pada diriku, keyakinanku untuk mengalahkannya.

I dedicate this post to my cats.

I have two cats in my house. They were both named Oscar and Goldie. They both tomcat. They are children from previous cat, Sapi, which she had already died. I have kept them for about one and a half years (since August 2010). They are local type of cat, not at all mixed race, but they're very well maintained and even many of my friends often mistakenly think that they're mixed race cats hahahahaha.

I LOVE MY CATS. They're very funny, smart, and energetic (especially Oscar). Love them with all my heart, my reason to keep smiling when things felt very hard.
